The Royal Regency opened its doors in 2008 when our founder, Abdul Bari, transformed a run-down snooker hall into the elegant venue you see today. At a time when large, purpose-built wedding and events spaces were rare in London, he pursued a vision that many didn’t fully understand - a vision that would grow into one of the city’s most recognised and trusted family-run venues.

From day one, our values have remained the same: warm hospitality, reliability, trust, community focus, cultural inclusivity and an unwavering commitment to detail. These principles have shaped every part of our journey and continue to guide
how we work today.

Now managed by the family, The Royal Regency has grown far beyond its beginnings. Over the years, we’ve invested heavily in the venue, carrying out major refurbishments inside and out and introducing professional lighting, sound and visual systems to keep up with modern expectations. The difference between the early days and the venue you see now is remarkable -
a testament to our dedication and craftsmanship.

Many of our clients have been with us from the start, returning year after year and recommending us to their families and friends.
